DO YOU HAVE STOREFRONT IN NYC?
We currently do not have a traditional storefront, but we are working on it! However, you and your friends are more than welcome to stop by out HQ - we keep all of our original flavors in stock to purchase. Gluten-Free and Vegan options vary by day. If you HAVE to have a certain flavor, we recommend still ordering ahead to guarantee that we have it ready for you! We occasionally run out of our popular flavors! Our DŌ HQ located at 737 2nd Avenue (#201), so stop by and check us out!
HOW DO I GET MY DŌ?
You've got plenty of options!
Pick-up: In the NYC area, you can pick it up at the DŌ HQ, located at 737 2nd Avenue between 39th and 40th Street. A convenient walk from Grand Central Station! Choose the pick-up option during checkout and we will let you know when it is ready to pick-up.
Delivery: We also offer delivery in Manhattan (below 110th Street) for a flat fee of $10. We will reach out to you after you submit your order to find a time to deliver when you are home. Because the cookie dough is perishable, we prefer to not leave it at your mailbox or with your doorman. We are not responsible for the contents if it is not immediately refrigerated. If the courier cannot get into your building, the order will not be re-delivered. It will be available for pick-up only. You can also purchase our products in NYC via Postmates, Caviar and Uber Eats.
Shipping: If you are enjoying our DŌ from outside NYC, we will ship 1-day delivery via FedEx in an insulated container to make sure your DŌ stays fresh and ready to enjoy. Currently, we ship MONDAY - THURSDAY to the 48 contiguous states. While shipping can tend to be pricy, we promise it will be worth it! Getting you fresh, delicious cookie dough is our number one priority. We are diligently working to find more cost effective shipping methods for you and all of our DŌ lovers. You can also purchase our products via FoodyDirect for $9.99 ground shipping and $29.99 nationwide shipping. Enjoy!
WHEN WILL I GET MY DŌ?
We make almost everything to order so that it's as fresh as possible! That said, it depends on what DŌ and how much DŌ you order. We like to have about 24-48 hours notice, but depending on production and demand, orders can sometimes take longer (or shorter). If you need the order delivered or shipped on a certain date, please specify in the additional information field at the end of the check-out process. Keep in mind we ship Monday - Thursday, so order will arrive Tuesday - Friday. Can I visit YOUR HQ to get some DŌ?
Of course! We would love to see you! We have a wide variety of flavors in stock for you to purchase. We are located at 737 2nd Avenue, between 39th and 40th Streets. Also... free samples from the mixing bowl, always!
How should I store my DŌ? How long will it last?
DŌ must be stored in the refrigerator or freezer because it contains perishable ingredients without any additives or preservatives. If refrigerated, DŌ lasts up to three weeks – good luck keeping it around that long! If frozen, it should be consumed within three months.
What is the best way to keep baked cookies?
Baked cookies are best stored in an airtight container and should stay chewy and delicious for up to two weeks. They will last up to three months if frozen and will be just as tasty when you thaw them to serve!
Is DŌ really safe to eat unbaked?
You heard us right! Finally, cookie dough that you don’t have to pretend you are going to bake! All ingredients in each of our delicious, homemade recipes are completely safe to consume just as they are – unbaked. We give you peace of mind, allowing you to eat a piece of cookie dough heaven how you like it best.
But doesn’t cookie dough contain eggs?
For products that typically contain eggs, we use a pasteurized egg substitute, which means there is NO chance of salmonella. The heat process kills any potentially harmful bacteria. Yay! You can enjoy all DŌ products unbaked.
What about the flour you use?
We're glad you asked! We use a heat-treated, ready-to-eat flour. That means NO chance of food-borne illness or the risk that comes along with eating raw flour products. Alas, worry-free treats you can't get sick from!
HOW MANY COOKIES DOES ONE DŌ CONTAINER BAKE?
If you have somehow resisted the urge to eat the whole unbaked tub and want to bake your cookie dough instead, do so in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until your desired doneness is achieved. Our 32oz container will bake 25-30 cookies, depending on your cookie size preference. Our 16oz container will bake about 15 cookies. Our 8oz container, only found in multi-packs, will bake 6-8 cookies each.
Can we buy your cookies already baked? What about cookie cakes?
YES! We sell baked cookies and custom cookie dough cakes, baked or unbaked. You can even build your own flavor if you want! We promise they will be a fan favorite at any event as well as be the perfect gift! Our 8x8 cakes feed about 9 people. Purchase online or contact info@cookieDOnyc.com for more information.
Are your products available for private events?
Are your products kosher?
We are in the process of getting our kosher certification. ALL ingredients are certified kosher. Yes, even our marshmallows.
Do your products contain nuts?
Some of our cookie dough flavors do contain nuts. We can point you in the right direction if you have an allergy. For those who have a severe allergy, be aware we manufacture in a facility that processes peanuts and tree nuts.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?
The following flavors can be made vegan: Sugar Cookie, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter, Cake Batter, Signature Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip (We must leave out the M&Ms).
Do you offer dairy-free products?
Absolutely! We cater to a variety of allergies. Just let us know, and we will be happy to make you dairy-free cookie dough that tastes just as good as the original stuff. See the vegan flavors for the dairy-free options.
What about gluten-free?
I’m so glad you asked! ALL of our dough can be made gluten-free with the exception of Cake Batter, Chocolate Dream, and Gimme S'more. A note to the hypersensitive – we process our products in a facility that also processes wheat.
